pain
so much pain
teeth clenched
stomach tied
i was there
but you don’t see me
i try to hold back
hold back the tears welling in my eyes
i feel like i could puke
is this what i get?
for caring?
my stomach churns
hard.
harder.
my throat hurts from trying to hold back
the sob trying to find its way out.
pain.
so much pain.
